I will say that one major downside was the after highschool crowd that went to UTA. A lot of these people are very entitled and feel like they shouldn't be there because they were in a "higher caliber" school and ended up expelled or because they are hoping to transfer to UT Austin. I just rolled my eye at them mostly. As far as the caliber of people, I give it a 6. There are definetely some good people there, but also a lot of people just want to fool around and party. Not necessarily the most inspiring academic environment. I mostly minded my own business and focused on graduating.
