(Phillips)

And the rain beats on my roof
And it does not ask for proof

It's not that lovers are unkind
She always said there'd come a time
When one would leave and one stay behind

We both knew people sometimes change
And lovers sometimes rearrange
And nothing's quite as sure as change

And the rain beats on my roof

Look through my window to the street below
See the people hurryin' by
With someone to meet, some place to go
And I know I should let go

She always said "I'm not like you"
"When love is dead for me it's through"
"And I will find and love someone new"

Look through my window, yeah, to the street below
See the people hurryin' by
With someone to meet, some place to go
And I know I should let go

I must admit she knew her mind
And it will not take her long to find
Another place where the sun will shine

And the rain beats on my roof
If I still require proof
Well the rain beats on my roof (She's gone)
If I still require proof (She's gone)
Well the rain beats on my roof (Look through my window)
If I still require proof (All the people)
Well the rain beats on my roof (I love her)
If I still require proof (She's gone)

Review: Formed in 1975, the Side Street Ramblers went through an epic journey to winning the SPEBSQSA Quartet Gold in 1983, having to replace their lead singer three times and such hurdles as a case of the flu that turned their bass into a tenor. But Keith Houts, tenor, Brian Beck, lead, Dennis Malone, baritone, and Earl Hagn, bass, were nothing if not focused and persistent, as the many costume changes in the colorful liner notes show. With the trophy in hand, the group went on to perform in 34 states and 12 foreign countries and become one of the best-loved barbershop groups of all time. "Encore" is a 2-CD set, which includes 30 great SSR classics. The guys are equally adept at cracking us up, tugging on our heartstrings or knocking us back in our seats with a ringing barbershop chord. Hard to pick favorites among the 30, as each is a gem, but here goes: "Only Yesterday," "Love to Meet That Old Sweetheart," "My Blue Heaven," "I Wonder What's Become of Sally," "The Way We Were," "Hello Broadway," "Let Me Call You Sweetheart," "Short People," "1927 Kansas City," "Smile Medley," "Proud to Be an American," "Bye Bye, Blackbird" and "All of Me." Now, that's entertainment. Encore! Songlist: I Feel A Song Comin' On, Only Yesterday, Consider Yourself One Of Us, Love To Meet That Old Sweetheart, Yes Indeed, Looking Through My Window, I Love You Truly, Story Of The Rose, My Blue Heaven, That Someone Is You, I Wonder What's Become Of Sally, Broadway, A little Night, Kitten Of The Keys, The Way We Were, I'm Sorry I Made You Cry, Hello Broadway, Everybody Loves A Lover, Let Me Call You Sweetheart, Put Your Arms Around Me, Short People, 1927 Kansas City, Smile Medley, Here's That Rainy Day, Proud To Be An American, Bye Bye, Blackbird, Have A Little Talk With Myself, Send In The Clowns, All Of Me, Gotta Be On My Way, Put Your Hand In The Hand

Oh no, it's that weird guy looking through my window while washing a carrot, again.

As I sit here looking at the rain staring through my window pane I feel just sorrow and no glee sometimes I feel there's nothing left inside of me As I sit here staring through the window pane looking out towards the rain hoping the sun will make me change knowing how much I hate this pain. The sun came out but I did not change in once again came back the rain in so I sit here knowing it doesn't matter if its sun or rain the pain I feel will never change and once again I'm alone to stare at the rain sitting here looking through my window pane.

At 1:55 am, I noticed a man I did not recognize walk to the back of the Waldheim Condominium parking lot and look into the windows of a neighbor’s and my cars. My light was on and he saw me looking through my window, after which he quickly left from the back exit of the …
